The solitude, scenic surroundings, and pristine shorelines devoid of the trappings of urban life…make each outing a success from the "get go." The sight of a majestic Bald eagle, cautious whitetail deer… cry of a nearby Loon are the only sights/sounds we generally hear besides ourselves.

The fishing here ranges from good to outstanding (weather permitting).In eight years we have yet to be “skunked”. We will guarantee to do our very best to accommodate your needs, put you on fish and teach you our techniques. So you can pass them on to others to enjoy this beautiful resource here in what we call "God’s Country."

I have spent much of my life fishing and studying the habits of freshwater gamefish. My father and grandfather were avid and extremely successful Bass fishermen right here in the U.P.

I have taken all the fishing experience coupled with 30 years as a science teacher and use these skills to help you have a great time fishing and learning proven techniques

You can catch a tremendous trophySmallmouth and Largemouth Bass like this one...even in the heat of mid summer! The area lakes and rivers teem with Bass, Pike, Musky, and Walleye that see few if any anglers. Even the local fishermen and cottage owners spend little time in pursuit of these great gamefish!

You may bring your favorite rods or use quality tackle that I furnish...St Croix &  Dobyns rods... Pfleuger and Quantum reels... Sufix lines...VMC hooks/jigs,  and the specific Rapala or Trigger X lures that are working during the time of your trip.

BassTechniques range from topwater lures, spinnerbaits and crank baits to the always deadly Tube jigs, Senkos, plastic worms and Swim jig baits.

I operate a Crestliner 1750 FishHawk boat, 115 Yamaha Outboard, MinKota 80# Terrova I Pilot electric bow motor and Lowrance Sonar & GPS units. We comfortably fish with two adults and myself, or two children and a guardian on any trip...

 ON YOUR TRIP

I encourage “selective harvest” on table fare. I do have a large aerated livewell to keep fish for the table. We encourage catch/photo/release (CPR) on most large game fish as Pike, Musky, and Bass. A top notch taxidermy service is close by and always an option for that "fish of a Lifetime".

I can also help with accomodations nearby.

I will meet you at a convenient (easy to find) location such as a bait shop, restaurant or motel.

After your trip, I will gladly send any digital pictures we take to your home PC.... or mail you a CD.
